Japan, Australian Perspectives March 10, 2015

Japan : Australian Perspectives is a group show that Mark Stiles is curating that will present the work of seven Australian architects and designers who acknowledge an aesthetic debt to Japan.

Tony Coote will take part because of his longstanding interest in Japanese architecture, and particularly because of his work on SZC’s own Kodoji retreat on the Hawkesbury River, which will feature in the exhibition. The show features other fusions of Japanese design principles within the Australian environment.
