Zen Roots workshop

Saturday 23 September
1pm to 4pm
Paul Maloney, roshi is conducting a workshop exploring Zen Buddhist history, theory and practice.
For several years Paul gave a comprehensive six-week course on Zen Buddhism, two hours each week, for the Sydney Community College. The workshop on Saturday 23 September will comprise a condensed version of that course and is a wonderful opportunity for members wishing to expand their knowledge of Zen Buddhism, and develop a deeper understanding of its relevance to modern life. It will be particularly helpful for those who conduct orientations for beginners who sometimes ask challenging questions. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions and join in discussion about Zen Buddhist matters. Together we will produce a refined and comprehensive document that can be used by present and future orientators, and will be a resource for all students of Zen.
There is no cost for members.
