Metta or loving kindness practice is the first of the foundational practices of Buddhist meditation. This is the practice of generating loving kindness and acceptance of ourselves, and also more broadly loving kindness and acceptance of all beings, and all living creatures. This instruction is to provide some guidance on how to practice metta or loving kindness meditation using the right method and by adopting the right attitude.
